Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. I accept most Aetna, Cigna, Oxford, United Healthcare, Oscar Health, and BCBS of TN plans. Once scheduled, you will be contacted by the billing department to confirm benefits and be notified of your co-pay or co-insurance responsibilities. I do not accept medicare or medicaid, such as TennCare and BlueCare. I am prohibited by law from seeing those with medicare or medicaid plans as self-pay clients.
How do providers send referrals?
Just have your patient text or call (423)226-5431 or email me at info@sherisespsych.com Once the patient schedules, I am happy to let you know! As a provider who performs all roles, this reduces administrative burdens and cuts down on playing phone tag.
How Do I Schedule an Appointment?
Use the "Request Appointment" feature on this website. You will provide basic information and submit it. Then you immediately receive the welcome email that includes my intake packet. Once I receive all items and verify your insurance, I will get you scheduled.
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
I realize things come up. I ask that you provide a 24 hour notice. Clients may cancel and reschedule by texting (423)226-5431. All late cancellations (within 24 BUSINESS hours of the appointment) and no shows are subject to a $100 fee.  This is the client's responsibility and is not paid by insurance.
Are there any services that you do not provide?
She Rises does not offer ketamine, ECT, TMS, IOP, PHP, Crisis/Emergency services, detox services, court-ordered treatments, bariatric evaluations, other surgical clearances, employment assessments, child custody determinations, or weapons ownership evaluations.
